If you’ve been exploring Santaia, you may be wondering what nervous system training looks like.
We begin by understanding how your system is functioning and how that relates to your everyday life.
A brain map, cognitive assessments, wearable health data, and your lived experience establish a starting point.
Together, these help inform what we practice, where we focus, and how we personalize your training.
From understanding to practice
Our eight-week program offers step-by-step guidance to regulate and rewire the nervous system.
Change happens at a different pace for everyone. In our work, we’ve found that eight weeks offers enough time to notice significant change.
Our approach is two-fold:
- Top-down: education to understand your patterns, notice triggers, question familiar interpretations, and learn to consciously redirect attention.
- Bottom-up: targeted practices – combining neurofeedback, meditation, somatic resourcing, or active recovery – to train flexibility.
At the end of eight weeks, re-assessment allows us to compare what shifted, alongside changes in how you feel and function.
How we measure success
We’re interested in building the lifelong skills that you can rely on when life doesn’t go according to plan.
Over time, progress may show up as:
- Increased nervous system flexibility
- Enhanced cognition and focus
- Improved sleep and recovery rhythms
- Thoughts that feel less negative, urgent, or consuming
- Emotions that move with less overwhelm
- Fewer spikes and crashes in daily energy or focus
- Clearer inner signals you can trust and respond to
- Surpassed plateaus that previously kept you stuck
By making the invisible visible, you gain tangible tools to shape how you think, feel, perform, and recover from stress.
